The Acquapuro ACQ-IFC+ is essentially an inline filter with both inlet and outlet connections on the top, it uses a 1.0 micron carbon block complete with polyphosphate crystals for scale control. This filter can remove Class 1 particulates, chlorine, cysts, pesticides and other toxins, a very good filter at a very affordable price. We recommend the ACQ-IFC+ filter is changed every 6 months. The Acquapuro ACQ-0.IFC is a cartridge filter whereby the head and mounting bracket remain in place and the filter cartridge is unscrewed from beneath. This filter is very unique in so far as it has a four-stage filtration process including a 0.1 micron carbon block, meaning it filters the smallest of particles, including micro plastics. Tests show it can remove 99.99% of bacteria, cysts, THM’s and Biofilm which other types of filters cannot. We recommend the ACQ-0.IFC filter is changed annually. The Acquapuro ACQ-IFC is an inline filter which uses a 1.0 micron carbon block which like the ACQ-IFC+ removes Class 1 particulates, chlorine, cysts, pesticides and other toxins. It does not have polyphosphate crystals for scale control. We recommend the ACQ-IFC filter is changed every 6 months. This filter is still being developed and should be ready by January 2024.
